I hated having to cancel on my Midwest boyfriends
My Chicago trip last week may have been cut short by a very curious cat, but I did manage to get in a bite of the best chicken sandwich (Lucy’s, preferably the one in Uptown, but the Humboldt Park location will due!), a sexy little reunion with one of my absolute favorite boys, and my first trip to the Chicago Botanic Gardens.

Can you believe it was my first time at the gardens even though I lived there for 15years? Honestly, it blew my mind, it WAY exceeded my expectations! I could spend twice as many hours there if I had the time. I want to take a bunch of my girlfriends there for a picnic next time I’m in town. Its like a magical fantasy princess world.
My baby boy Bowser is doing excellent by the way! I think it was a false alarm but I wouldn’t have been able to live with myself if I hadn’t gotten him checked out. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me about him and helped cover his ER bill. It was really scary there for a minute!
✈️ Plans Changed, I’m already back!

Gorgeous 🥰
Beautiful as always. The best botanical garden I've been to was in DC, but Chicago's looks like it brings the heat and might threaten that ranking for me. Added to the list of reasons I need to visit.
