Here’s what I am loving this wet hot American summer:

♥️ Spending my 4th of July blowing things up with my beloved Freshie. We had a beautiful hilltop picnic complete with decorative bouquets lining our blankets and a vast array of questionable snacks. We ended the night rooftop with a 360 view of the citywide firework show.

♥️ Finally getting around to watching Andor. I know, I know… I’m quite late to the game, but the Star Wars universe is expanding faster than I can keep up with and its hard to parse through which series are worth checking out. I am so glad I took the time! The writing is excellent, I have found myself rewinding certain lines to let them sink in deeper. Although, I was a huge fan growing up, these days I consider Star Wars to be the “golden retriever of science fiction“. It can be a little too cute for my taste, but this one really hit the mark for me.

♥️ Growing out my hair and keeping my curls healthy. This time next year, I hope my hair be big enough to have its own gravitational pull. Do you see this pics?! Enough said.

♥️ Being home for a nice, long stretch and overhauling my home decor. Interior design is my greatest form of self expression. Being able to create the mood of my space and optimize it for maximum comfort and productivity changes everything.

My favorite recent addition is adding prismatic privacy film to all of my windows. Not only does this enable me to continue being the official Naked Neighbor of my block without drawing attention, but it creates a rainbow lightshow whenever the sun shines through. It reminds me of The Shimmer from the movie Annihilation. (Only with far fewer mutated bears roaming my living room)

♥️ My next Chicago visit! A couple months ago, my windy city travels plans got thwarted by a very curious kitty. I had teased on my Notes that there was a collaborative posts coming featuring the Chicago-based Miss Qu and it is finally going to see the light of day! You boys seem to love the tutorials I post about interacting with woman and this is a much requested topic she and I tackle together. Check back next time 😘

♥️ The most recent season of The Adam Friedland Show. I’ve been enjoying the new interviews from “The Millennial Jon Stewart“, but its also made me nostalgic for the Podcast That Must Not Be Named (if you know, you know) he was originally known for. It has been enlightening to go back because now I can see that every emotionally unavailable Bernie Bro I dated in my 20’s ripped his entire personality off from those hosts. And you know what? That’s on me.
