Philly, its not you, its me ♥️
Maxienne is moving back to Chicago this summer
I have not been online much as of lately.
Sorry about that! I have spring fever and there are many Negronis for me to stir with my finger and lick clean while winking at someone’s father. I have been active on my IG stories though! That’s been shockingly fun and refreshing for social media actually.
OH! - That and I’m in the process of moving across the country (again) and that is ruining my life in all the moments where I’m not scantily clad bouncing around.
Death, taxes, and Uhaul, am I right?
I was originally supposed to head back to Chicago later in the year to be back in time for the Winter Semester (Yay! Back to school!) I am not willing to play Russian Roulette with gas prices by waiting an extra six months, so I’m just going to rip the band-aid off now and get it over with.

I do love Philly. I mourn an alternate reality where I got to stay longer and get to develop a deeper relationship with the city.
I had a high percentage of Happy Days here. I would catch myself saying “This is one of the best days of my life!” on a regular basis. I have no idea what my life would look like if I hadn’t taken the time. This city was the perfect post-pandemic rinse that I needed to end one chapter of my story and begin the next.
If its any consolation, I lived in Chicago for 15yrs and I never felt anything towards the sports teams other than frustration on the Red Line every summer. In these 2.5yrs, the culture around the Eagles has truly delighted me. I still don’t care about football, but I am a fan of Philadelphia Eagles’ fans. They are the most insane, passionate crowd that regularly experiences love more deeply than I think most people will ever have access to.
I salute you. It’ll always be “Go Birds” from here on out.
You’ve got me for life. I will carry your gospel.
I came out here to be closer to family and help out for a minute. It was very worth my time, but I am excited to go home and be a little selfish again if I’m being honest. Moving out of Chicago and coming back is an expensive hobby of mine. There have been a few periods where Real Life has required me elsewhere, but I always come back home.

Once a Chicagoan... Welcome home. As for the red line blues, Bear Down...
Delighted to have your gorgeous self back! Hoping the move is painless as can be. Chicago summer will be here with open arms to welcome you back 💕
