Its spring time and I’m twitterpated!

I’m the new girl in town and I’m having the full Philly in spring experience, allergies included! Living in Chicago for so long, I am honestly shocked that you actually have a long enough spring to enjoy here. I’m used to about 10 days of cute trench coat weather before you are immediately hit with the urgency to wear as little as possible outdoors. Sounds good in theory, but I want to savor the sweetness of our most liminal month. I put together a little list of Q2 wishes and my take on the perfect fairweather date.

♥️ How have I been in Philly for three months now and have had no one step up to take me to the Mutter Museum? Am I not giving out the vibes strong enough that I would melt at a romatic stroll through a collection of deformed human skeletons and antique medical equipment..? If that hasn’t been clear enough, this is your sign!

♥️ Show me your favorite Philadelphia park and lets make it a picnic. I will make the watermelon-feta salad and you pack the Veuve. “You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress…🎵” You and me lounging on a beautiful handmade quilt surrounded by blossoms. The recipe for a perfect afternoon delight

♥️ The original Alien (1979) will be returning to theaters selectively. Certain promises were made and certain promises will be upheld.

✅ At the time of writing, this was still just a wish. By publishing, the tickets had been purchased, the date was set, and my extra terrestrial dreams are becoming very much reality. Thank you, mister 💋

♥️ Art class du jour. What new media do you want to learn? I just signed up for a plethora of new art workshops to sample this summer. I’ve been out of practice and am ready to lean into the basics again. I’ve even been fantasizing about committing to a writing class, but am horrified to actually go for it. So out of my comfort zone!

♥️ Enable me on my crusade to find the best Old Fashioned in Philly! I have now checked Black Squirrel Club and W Philadelphia off my list. Where to next?

♥️ Antiqueing date. Ever since I got to this city, I have been on the biggest thrifting hot streak of my life! I just keep finding absolute treasures. Let’s do an Antiques Road Show roleplay and keep it going! I promise I’ll do anything for a good appraisal!
