I’ve been in a semi-exclusive relationship with Chicago for quite awhile now and its high time we go public, right? Sometimes I catch myself bustling down the streets and conceeding to myself “yeah, this is pretty much the greatest place to live on the planet.“

Downtown is barely the beginning of it, but its a great place to start!

I’m so happy I got this photo shoot in before they move Monument with Standing Beast, my favorite public Chicago art. I’ve featured it in my header for years and finally got a couple of snaps with it.

RIP. Enjoy your next life at the Art Institute. Not a bad retirement plan.
