The mental avatar I have of myself has always had chic, short hair.

I have always kept it way and that’s how I see myself regardless of whatever the current style is. I committed to growing it out during quarantine and had my ego riding on it. I have never been a quitter!

But as soon as Philly hit the high 80’s for the first time, I completely tapped out. Like, instantly. My long lengths had to go. I’m so sorry, All Mighty Male Gaze, I know you love long, bouncy waves, but its always lady’s choice at the end of the day. Fortunately this lady makes excellent choices.

It feels so good and I feel hotter than I have in forever! I feel very femme fatale. And you’ll like me when I’m feeling femme fatale, I promise…

LoveNote will be going to a biweekly schedule for the summer.

I had already started this frequency, but I figured I’d clue you in. I mentioned in a recent post that I have major plans for expanding the LoveNote project in the fall. I need to free up some time execute the backend of my grand schemes and focus on creating visual content now that I have my art studio and (some of) my photography equipment back. I took these photos myself for the first time in months and I’m so pleased with the outcome ♥️ I enjoy writing, but I have always identified as a visual communicator.

Speaking of which, my OF is picking back up now that the “Max is Moving” chapter of my life finally wrapped up. The official grand re-opening is July 1st, but I’ll be dropping sporatic selfies in the meantime while I get back into practice. Will I see you there..?
